Vendor Assessments and Supplier Assurance
Reducing supplier risk across capability, quality, and delivery
SQS provides independent, risk‑based vendor assessments to enable informed supplier selection and robust supply chain assurance. Our assessments evaluate a supplier’s capability to deliver against contractual, technical, and quality requirements, including management systems, production and process controls, inspection and test planning, resource competency, capacity, and schedule resilience. We review quality planning, traceability, control of non‑conformances, corrective actions, and continuous improvement processes to determine delivery reliability and execution risk.

ESG performance is assessed as an integral component of supplier due diligence. This includes evaluation of environmental management practices, energy use, emissions and waste controls, health and safety systems, labour standards, ethical practices, and governance frameworks, aligned with client ESG objectives and applicable regulatory or reporting standards.

Where required, SQS can analyse and compare the carbon footprint implications of selecting specific suppliers, supporting lower‑carbon procurement decisions and helping clients understand the embodied and operational emissions associated with their supply chain choices. Our assessments deliver clear, evidence‑based findings and practical recommendations, enabling clients to select suppliers that can deliver safely, responsibly, and to the required quality standards.
