SQS is proud to be part of the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project, the world’s largest utility scale, commercially-based hydrogen facility powered entirely by renewable energy. The project is located in NEOM, Saudi Arabia and when commissioned in 2026, it will produce 600 tonnes per day of clean hydrogen by electrolysis using thyssenkrupp technology; production of nitrogen by air separation using Air Products technology; and production of up to 1.2 million tonnes per year of green ammonia. When complete, the project will mitigate the impact of 5 million metric tonnes of carbon emissions per year.

The Ruwais LNG project is under development in Al Ruwais Industrial City, designed to double the UAE's LNG production capacity to 9.6 million tonnes per annum (mtpa). It will consist of two liquefaction trains, each with a 4.8 mtpa capacity, and aims to be one of the lowest-carbon-intensity LNG projects in the world.

Darrow Blue Energy refers to a large-scale industrial project in Darrow, Louisiana, planned by Air Products to produce low-carbon hydrogen and blue ammonia from natural gas. The "blue" designation means it uses carbon capture and sequestration technology to capture and permanently store over 95% of the carbon dioxide (\(CO_{2}\)) emissions, making it a "clean energy" project.
